Letter from the Founder:
As the Founder of Empowered Recovery Center, my drive and passion for saving lives and empowering individuals in their recovery journey stems from one simple truth: I’ve been where you are. Through my own recovery over the past 10 years, I’ve experienced the highs and the lows, the good and the bad of recovery treatment programs and facilities. I started Empowered because I know firsthand that real recovery and true empowerment come from confronting the mental, physical, and emotional challenges associated with addiction in a comprehensive approach. My mission is to provide a safe place that individuals and families can begin to heal while acquiring the tools that will enable lasting change. Moreover, I wanted to create a place that would evolve with the changing needs of the recovery community, ask tough questions of ourselves in how we can better assist our patients, and most importantly, always maintain our integrity in ensuring our patients’ wellness is at the center of everything we do.
At Empowered Recovery Center, we believe our most important task is to empower each individual to step into their wellness journey with the confidence, support, and tools they need to embrace the life-saving change that comes from within. In my own recovery, I learned that this kind of support was fundamental in allowing me to take back my power over addiction. It would be my honor and privilege, along with our team, to empower you to do the same.

I know how you are feeling. It was not supposed to be this way. This kind of thing happens to other people, not you. By the time you are reading this, you have probably already been through “where did we go wrong?” and “how did we not see this?” Recently you have started to think “what are we supposed to do? – we are not prepared for this.” I know. How could you be prepared for something like this?
At Empowered Recovery Center, we have been preparing for today for almost 20 years. We are totally prepared for this. You need someone today who knows how to break these chains that are holding someone you love. This is a very difficult time for you and the people you love most, and nothing is going to make it easy. But at Empowered Recovery Center, we can make it better. Empowered Recovery Center has a highly qualified staff and an effective recovery program to lead people back to a productive and fulfilling life with meaning and purpose.
Why did I start 20 years ago to be ready to help you today? Because 20 years ago I was exactly where you are today, and I did not know where to turn or what to do. I knew I needed help fast, but I did not know how to make a good choice of who to choose. My son’s life was at stake and I needed help immediately. I was totally unprepared for this.
It was a very hard time. We had dreams for our kids. We had spent years providing them with opportunities to learn and explore and grow. Then one day we discover one of our sons has a problem with addiction. For us, we learned it from the police because he had been arrested. People who have never lived it may say “how could you not know?” If you have already lived it, you understand.
For me, at first, I was thinking “we can fix this.” This problem is not that bad. But as weeks turned to months and months turned to years, it became painfully clear addiction is not a problem you can just “fix.” We tried a lot of things. Hard things. Painful things. Rip your heart out things. But we came through it. We learned a lot. Mostly things people wish they didn’t need to know, but now we know. And we started Empowered Recovery Center to help people in this unpleasant situation get back the person who was stolen from you by addiction. I know the pain and hurt you feel. You want to do something today that will really help someone you love. So do we. And we have been preparing for today for the past 20 years.
That son has been sober for over 10 years now and has helped lead hundreds of people, mostly young adults, back to a meaningful life of good citizenship by breaking the bonds of addiction. He is now the president of Empowered Recovery Center. Our family is dedicated to helping your family get back on track. Back to the future you planned. The road we traveled to get here was not an easy one, but we can make it a bit easier for you. The past 20 years have led us to today and we are totally prepared for this – ready to hear your story and offer a hand.
